The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith. If Jesus did not rise, we are hopeless. But he did rise and if we believe, we can have life through his name!
Jesus is glorified through us when we are unified in him and unification comes with our loyal dependence on the word of God.
Your Life, your death, and your resurrection are ultimately all for the Glory of God.
We often attempt to satisfy our longings with things that only temporarily bring satisfaction, but ultimately leave us empty and longing. Only in Jesus, can we find true and lasting satisfaction.
God is the sole initiator of all faith. Specifically, the Holy Spirit alone works in the life of a sinner to bring him to the place of faith in Jesus.
Regardless of our physical needs, our sinful desires, or our righteous ambition, God demands perfect obedience of his Word yet only Jesus is able to fulfill.
Here in the beginning of John’s gospel, we have two of the most foundational truths of the Christian faith:
1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
2) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..
It is through the God-Man, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, that we find true hope and redemption.
