Brett Flora

Pastoral Assistant & Hubtown Kidz Coordinator

Brett serves as the pastoral assistant and Hubtown Kidz coordinator.

Brett moved to the area in 2017 from his home in Tennessee to start working with others to lay the foundations of Hagerstown Church. During that time, he met his wife Rachel, whom he married in September 2018.

They live in the downtown Hagerstown area, enjoying a good book, listening to records, playing competitive Scrabble games, and exploring new dinner possibilities in the kitchen.

Joshua mcclain

Lead pastor

Josh and his wife Sarah have been married for 13 years and have 4 children: Riley, Elijah, Joselyn, and Caroline. In 2015, God began to prepare the McClain’s heart for church planting and one year later He opened the door to plant in Hagerstown, Md. After a lot of prayer and godly counsel, they answered the call and began to prepare for the work in Hagerstown.

Josh loves to read and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological studies from Liberty University. He has been in pastoral ministry for over a decade. When he’s not in the office you will find him spending time with family or checking in with new friends over a cup of coffee.

Micah Shadden

Administrative Assistant

Micah works in the office to complete tasks for the day to day running the church and heads up the entering of information into our database.

Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, Micah became a Christian at a young age. Her family moved to San Antonio, where her father became the lead pastor at a church where she would later meet her future husband.

At Hagerstown Church, they’ve found a place to plug in, to grow as Christians, and watch God change lives through His Word.
